San Diego technology firm again receives prestigious Partner of the Year award from Microsoft at its World Partner Conference in Houston

San Diego, California, July 12— Resulting from its innovative approach to Office 365 migration and other Microsoft cloud solutions, Agile IT today received the Microsoft 2013 West Region Cloud Partner of the Year award.

The Partner of the Year awards highlight and recognize excellence and achievement in Microsoft partners who produced exceptional results for their customers, focusing on extending business productivity systems and delivering the benefits of Cloud computing.

The award was conferred during the 2013 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston, TX, where Microsoft’s West Region General Manager Neal Potter was onsite to congratulate Agile IT for its achievements.

“The Microsoft Partner Awards honor Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the last year,” said Potter. “Agile IT demonstrates a commitment to serving its customers, and providing innovative thinking and technology solutions to meet business needs.”

“Agile IT is extremely proud to have been recognized as West Region Cloud Partner of the Year,” said John Gilham, founder and Principal of Agile IT. “It builds on our award last year [Southwest Area Cloud Partner of the Year], and recognizes and demonstrates to our customers, that Agile IT continues to provide unrivalled customer service and technical expertise in Microsoft Cloud solutions such as Office 365, Active Directory and Windows Azure.”

Agile ITs success in Cloud computing also good news for the local economy, as it has doubled the number of jobs it offers in the San Diego area each year for the past three years.

“We’re a small company, but we’re growing fast,” Gilham said, “and we‘re looking forward to continuing to create local jobs as more businesses rely on us to move them to the cloud to improve how they work with their customers and partners.”

In addition to serving the needs of local businesses, Agile IT also exercises its social conscience in the San Diego area, volunteering at local organizations and through donations to numerous good causes, including the Arc of San Diego, San Diego Center for Children, and Access to Independence San Diego.

Founded in 2007 by John Gilham, a former Business Technology consultant from Microsoft, San Diego-based Agile IT was one of the first service providers to deliver Office 365 solutions. Agile IT’s additional focus in its Enterprise Microsoft Consulting practice areas: SharePoint, Dynamics CRM , Exchange, System Center, Lync, SQL & Business Intelligence, Windows Client & Server Deployment, Enterprise Identity & Security, ADFS SAML Federation & SSO and Azure Cloud Server Hosting – provide agile enterprises with integrated, secure, and robust private cloud infrastructure supporting strategic line of business applications.
