Agile IT supports the organizations that protect this country: the contractors producing aerospace composites, weapons systems components, and defense logistics technology. What they build can’t fail. Our job is to protect the data behind it, and that can’t fail either.
The people who belong here want their work to mean something.
Agile IT moves fast because the people here are trusted to lead their work. Your experience carries weight with leadership. Bring a recommendation, a concern, or a better way to do something, show your reasoning, and most of the time it moves.
When everyone works at that level, the problems get more interesting and the days get shorter.
Trusted to lead your work has a specific meaning here. You own the outcome, not just the task. See a better way, show your reasoning, and that is the approval process.
The right hire keeps getting better at the work without being told to. They don’t want to be the smartest person in the room. They work toward it.
The second half is how they handle problems. A problem gets raised to leadership and solved, not buried. They know when they need help and ask for it, they own their lane, and they communicate clearly. Here, a clear communicator who keeps learning outperforms almost everyone.
Everyone here has a scoreboard. Marketing runs on leads, sales on deals, compliance on defensibility. Whatever yours measures, you should want to move it.
We hire for character before we manage for it. The people who belong here hold themselves to the standard before anyone else does.
Reliability
We do what we say, when we say it. You’ll always know where you stand and what comes next. When circumstances change, we say so early and reset together.
Integrity
We do the right thing, even when no one is watching. That means honest feedback, owned mistakes, and no political games. The standard we hold for our customers is the same one we hold for each other.
Stewardship
We act as caretakers of the company, our colleagues, and our customers. We share knowledge openly, invest in each other’s growth, and leave things better than we found them. When you join this team, the team is in your corner.
Excellence
We deliver our best work with discipline and intention. The bar here is high, and that raises everyone. We approach problems systematically, act decisively, and prioritize long-term relationships over short-term wins. The work you produce at Agile IT will be some of the best of your career.
Remote Flexibility
Work from almost anywhere. Our team is currently spread across California, Arizona, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. We trust you to get the work done.
Time Off
18 days of paid time off, increasing with tenure. 12 paid holidays. Mental health days are real here. Take them when you need them.
401k
Immediate 3% employer contribution, fully vested from day one.
Health Coverage
HMO and PPO options for medical, dental, and vision. We contribute to both employee and dependent costs.
Additional Insurance
$200,000 in life and AD&D coverage, plus short and long-term disability.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Health Care and Dependent Care FSA with a $300 employer contribution per plan enrolled.
Recognition
Every employee receives a monthly allowance to recognize teammates with real money. When someone does exceptional work, you can put something behind it.
Career Development
Regular one-on-ones with your manager, built around one question: How do we help you grow? That question is the entire agenda.
Certifications & Education
Agile IT invests in the technical growth of the team. We put people through CCP and CCA certifications because we want everyone fluent in the work we do.
Most roles move through four stages and wrap within three to four weeks. You’ll know where you stand at each one.
01
Resume Review And Phone Call
We review every application. If your background aligns, a member of our talent team will reach out to schedule a 30-minute exploratory call: who you are, what you bring, and why Agile IT.
02
Writing Sample
Some roles require a writing sample. We believe writing is thinking. It tells us how you approach problems, not just how you perform in interviews. A previous security assessment, SSP, POA&M, or implementation plan works. We ask for it within a week of the first call.
03
Manager Interview
A remote interview via Microsoft Teams with your potential manager and relevant stakeholders. Come prepared for technical and competency-based questions and plan for 60 to 90 minutes. This is also your chance to evaluate us, so we reserve time for your questions.
04
Decision And Feedback
We make a decision and provide feedback at every stage, regardless of outcome. If we move forward, you’ll receive an offer. If not, you’ll hear from us directly, with honest feedback on why.
Come prepared to discuss real decisions you have made, not just your job history.
Know The Domain
Agile IT is all-in on CMMC, Microsoft Government Cloud, and defense compliance. Come with enough familiarity to ask good questions about where the industry is headed and what you’d be stepping into.
Bring Real Examples
Think through situations where you demonstrated the skills the role requires. We care more about the decisions you made and why than the titles you held.
Be Direct
We value clarity. If you don’t know something, say so. If you disagree, say that too. Authentic answers are more useful to us than polished ones.
Interview Us Back
We leave time at the end of every interview for your questions. Use it. How we answer tells you as much about Agile IT as our job descriptions do.
If this is the environment you’ve been looking for, we want to hear from you. No cover letter required. Just show us how you think and what you can do.
We review every submission. If there’s a fit, we’ll be in touch.
We will respond within one buisness day.
