2014 Brings Continued Growth for Leading San Diego Microsoft Partner

With over 150,000 users successfully moved to the Cloud and business continuing to increase, Agile IT predicts 2015 will be another year of success.

San Diego, California – 20 January, 2015 – Today, Agile IT released its year-end summary, showing that business is booming for the San Diego technology company.

Ranked by the San Diego Business Journal as #15 of the 100 fastest growing private companies in San Diego, 2014 was a record breaking year for Agile IT, with the company receiving a number of other prestigious accolades.

At the Microsoft World Partner Conference in July, Microsoft named Agile IT Cloud Partner of the Year for the third year in a row- an unprecedented honor usually achieved only by very big companies. Agile IT was also named on CRN’s Next-Gen 250 list, and was listed at the top of CIO Review’s 20 Most Promising Cloud Computing Companies list.

Agile IT has been a trusted Microsoft partner since 2006, and in 2014 earned nine Gold Microsoft Partner competencies, up from six at the end of 2013.

CEO and founder of Agile IT, John Gilham, said, “We’re extremely proud to hold nine gold competencies. It’s almost unheard of and places us firmly among the elite of Microsoft Partners - not just in California but in the world.”

Microsoft Gold Competencies are awarded only to the very best Partners, and demonstrate not only the expertise of a company’s staff but also their commitment to the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction.

Financially, 2014 was a record breaking year for the company, growing in revenue by over 40% to close the year with earnings of over $2.3 million, and 2015 is already on the right track to outdo last year.

Highly regarded as one of the world’s leading providers of Office 365 migration and Cloud services, 2014 also saw an expansion of the company’s fixed-price solutions, including a managed IT support solution branded as AgileCover.

Speaking of the latest offering, John Gilham said, “Agile IT itself is a small business, so we know the challenges other small to midsize businesses face with their IT systems. Keeping an IT infrastructure running smoothly takes time, money and expertise. For a low, fixed monthly fee, AgileCover frees business owners to concentrate on running and growing their business while we proactively manage their IT environment.”

Over the course of 2014, Agile IT’s San Diego staff grew by 30%, increasing the number of staff in the Operations and Support departments, and welcoming a new Director of Sales and a new Director of Technology Services to the executive team.

“I’m so proud of the team we’ve built here at Agile IT- they all have the ‘right stuff’”, said Gilham. “2014 was a year of growth and challenges, and the obstacles we overcame have made us a better company. We have a rock solid team, and I’m looking forward to all of us growing Agile IT and ensuring 100% customer success in 2015”.
