Successful 2013 Brings Growth for Agile IT

With over 125,000 users successfully moved to the Cloud and business continuing to increase, Agile IT predicts 2014 will be a year of success.

As one of San Diego’s leading technology companies and ranked in the top 0.5% of Microsoft Cloud solution providers worldwide, Agile IT has continued its path to success in 2013. “This has been a very good year for Agile IT,” said Principal Consultant and founder, John Gilham. “We have increased our revenue, our staff and our office space, and we’re not finished yet.”

Sales of Agile IT’s services increased by 100%, from $800,000 in 2012 to $1.6 million in 2013 with an additional $1.6 million in licensing revenue. The number of users moved to Cloud solutions through Agile IT’s AgileAscend Fixed-Price Office 365 Migration solutions tripled to over 75,000 users, compared to just over 25,000 moved to the Cloud in 2012. This means that to date, Agile IT has successfully deployed Cloud solutions to over 125,000 users in over 500 organizations worldwide.

That success contributed to Agile IT being awarded Microsoft Cloud Partner of the Year for the second year running, as well as being named as a finalist for Excellence in Customer Service in the San Diego Small Business Awards.

In addition to the awards, in 2013, Microsoft granted Agile IT seven Gold Competencies - with two more to follow in the coming months. “Seven Gold Competencies is fantastic,” Gilham said. “But nine is almost unheard of and will place us firmly among the elite of Microsoft Partners - not just in California but in the world.”

Microsoft Gold Competencies are awarded only to the very best Partners, and demonstrate not only the expertise of a company’s staff but also their commitment to the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction. Further recognition of that best-in-class status came when Agile IT was selected by Microsoft as an Azure Circle Partner, and enrolled in the top tier of the SMB Champions Club.

Already, 2014 is looking to be a busy year for Agile IT, with new customers planning a move to the Cloud and a number of existing customers returning for additional solutions, such as Azure Cloud services and AgileOffice – Agile IT’s fixed-price support offering.

Agile IT’s success will continue to contribute to the San Diego economy throughout 2014. According to Karrie La Voy, Operations Manager at Agile IT, “We already have an immediate need to fill a number of new positions and we will be continuing to recruit more local staff early in 2014.”

Agile IT are currently seeking a Support and Operations Coordinator and a Cloud Migration Helpdesk Technician, both based in San Diego. Further details may be found on Agile IT’s website.
